Please can someone tell me how to stop the Wise-FTP scheduler running automatically when I start my computer. I have no tasks set up.

This works for 98 and XP - If you are running 2K then you can copy the msconfig file from XP and use it in 2K.

Go Start/Run and type msconfig

Check "Selective Start-up"

Then go to the "startup" tab then scroll down the list looking for "WF_scheduler"

When you find it untick the box next to it and press "OK".

Once you restart your machine yuo will find that the scheduler does not appear.

Note: When Wise FTP is updated another entry appears for "WF_scheduler" and you will have to repeat this process.
