Thanks for the reply. I uninstalled it again (Third time the charm) reinstalled and so far has been working ok. Just hope it stays.

Had been using the program right along, closed it and the reopened it and got he above message. On selecting OK the message is: Access violation at address 004c3290 in module 'AceBackup.exe' Read of address 00000004. Have reloaded AceBack up. No change. Sorry, got busy, the version is 2(2.2.0,2.2.0.0) also while we are at it, how do you reneme a project?

Back up not working nor restore!

It appears that back in Feb. AceBit stopped doing its backups with out any warnings. I now find that when checking 'Process' that Backup, Delete, and Restore are grayed out. In checking backed up files I now first have to use the 'Verify' wizzard but then Process remains grayed out. What do I need t...

Thanks, that worked! In the error report is says "xxx file" was found on the backup media and added to the project. So we must have something set up wrong. (It had been working in the past.) Any clue as to what that might be and how to correct it? The version is: Version 2 (2.1.6, 2.1.6.0). Thanks a...

I'm not able to open the backup files from the Project folder to do a restore. The files do exsists in the back up folder, so it's not a case that the files are missing, there's just no access to the files to restore.
