Error Message

Each time I exit WISE I have been receiving an error message:

Cannot create file "C:\Documents and Settings\Terry Bennett\Application Data\AceBIT\WISE-FTP 6\wiseftpsrvs.bin". Access is denied

This has not previously hindered operation of the programme but now, when I want to set-up a new account, it will happily take all the data but refuses to save it or allow me to connect to the new FTP server.

I presume this is some form of corruption to the wiseftpsrvs.bin file ... but how do I resolve it please?

Hello Terry,

please try this:

- right click on the WISE-FTP icon and click "Run as administrator"

Does this solve your problem?

Thanks for that. Earlier this evening I was looking at it again and found that some of the folders had become 'Read Only'. By removing this restriction the problem seems to have gone away!
