Version 3 on Windows 7?

Post by Hank Tyler » June 15th, 2011, 6:29 pm

I've been using and enjoying Password Depot (version 3.2.2.0) on my Windows XP machine for years. After getting a new Windows 7 64 bit machine, I installed the same version. It seems to work fine, but I am having trouble using it "unlocked" (non-trial mode). Last night I retrieved the new activation code, plugged in the unlock code and it unlocked! Worked fine and was able to add some new passwords. This morning, when I opened it it reverted back to the locked (trial) version. :o Anyone know what gives?
Does version 3 work ok on Windows 7?

Thank you.

Dear Hank,

Under Windows Vista/ Windows 7 please unlock Password Depot using admin rights. Right-click on the executable file and choose "Run as administrator". If this does not work please send us an e-mail including your unlock code to support@acebit.com.

Kind regards,
