Android 4.1.X and Password Depot

It seems that PD for android is not compatible with Android 4.1.X.
Everything was working fine on Android 4.0.4 but now I can only load my password file but not access it. As soon as I try it PD crash (btw, I have sent a couple of automatic report, if this helps).

Is it just me or there is an issue on android later than 4.0.X?

Thanks!

*Never ever* worked for me either?
now using Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS 4.0.x)
all I ever get is "could not open file"
after typing in password?

No, I guess we have a different problem. With ICS it was working perfectly fine here, now with Jelly Bean I can still load fine the password file but as soon as I try to actually access a specific entry/folder PD is unresponsive and crashes.

Never worked for me in JB or ICS and always use latest version of Password Depot?

OK Just worked out where I may be wrong
I have been trying to open password file created by my Win7 version 6
seems you may have to create this password file on on your tablet?
this Android version seems dedicated to ICS

No, I have created the file originally on win7 with latest PD 6
No, I try to open it in JB 4.1.1 smartphone (not trying with a tablet).

Can you confirm that you can open it in JB (and access to password as I can open the file but then PD crashes as soon as I try to access a folder/password)?

Thank you for your help.

Not using JB as my Tablet updated to ICS and seems stable
After creating a "PSW" file with ICS it opens but I have not yet created actual password files (PSW) with it to use.
My passwords are complex some with many fields (not just two like "log-in & password") .
Starting to lose interest.
It is my reckoning that the Android Version of Password Depot is not compatible with it's Windows version
Suggest using it as a specific Android APP?
But not that familiar with Android (which is Linux based Mac or Apple are Unix based)

Hello!

We have just released the Android edition v 1.5 which fixed the problems with Jelly Bean. Could you please confirm that the problems reported are now solved?

The update indeed solved the problem! Thank you very much for the prompt reaction and fast fixing of the issue

Now, since I am hear just a couple of suggestions for your future android versions/builds, no hurry but useful:
- make the search function not case sensitive. Currently if you search for the keyword, lets say "password" you will not find "Password"
- Implement a search function that also looks in sub-folders. Currently if you search for an entry on root (upper level) you will only search entries on root. I have hundreds of passwords and I don't always remember which folder I had chosen to store it.

Anyway, thank you again for the quick fix! :)

Thank you, both suggestions will be implemented in the next version 2.0, which will be released on December 10.
