Can't see pop-up messages on themes with white fonts

Post by keyboarder » July 17th, 2017, 9:33 pm

Many standard pop-up messages (dialogues windows) use a white background regardless of the selected theme in Edit | Options | Theme (F10). If a theme has a white font (or perhaps any very light font), many pop-up messages are NOT readable because they blend with the white background.

Either change ALL dialogue windows to use the theme background color, OR make it so that the various dialogue boxes use black on white. Don't use half-baked theme settings.

I have tested this with multiple dark themes with white fonts. Here are example pop-up messages with the Glow theme:

It's not only light fonts on white backgrounds, but apparently black fonts on dark backgrounds is also bad. This particular theme (Glow) does not a have a completely black background color, but some do so that this pop-up message would also be completely unreadable.

Apparently both background and font colors can be specified for the various pop-up messages, they just have not been coded consistently to use the theme colors.
