Anyone else think the v12 UI is a step backwards?

I've used PD for years and have just upgraded from v11 to v12.

I'm not liking it. Anyone else of the same opinion?

1) The top bar is now so wide I have to minimise it, whereas I could leave it at the top of my screen on all previous versions. So a step backwards.
2) Black and white icons are not as easy to use / read as colour. So a step backwards.
3) The top bar position of the icons isn't being remembered. Eg, I customise the list and have user name and password at the top, and the next day one or more have changed position. So a step backwards.

So, in my opinion v11 has a far better user interface and I'm yet to find anything better in v12.

Ok - an option to change icons to colour was added to v12.0.5.
I've found an option to change the top bar field widths.
So, it now looks like v11 so I'm happy.

Where did you find the option to change the icon colours?

Top bar on my Win 10 machine still can't "remember" the icon order. Mildly frustrating.

Oddly, on an old Win 7 backup machine, it's fine.
