Process Option Not Available

We downloaded AceBackup to test the software for daily backups to a removable hard drive. After setting up the project, the project will process or run, and we close the program. When the program is restarted, we select the project, and select the volume. We cannot run the project because the PROCESS option is grayed-out or not available. PROCESS is also not available on the toolbar. The only way we can get the project to rerun is to modify the project by adding or removing a folder selected for backup. Then the PROCESS option become active.

We would like to setup the program so it can be ran on-demand. The same folders would be backed-up each day but not necessarily at the same time each day.

We are using a Windows 7 Professional 64bit computer.

Any suggestions or direction will be appreciated.

You need first to click the button 'Update'. This will scan the source for new/modified files. Process button becomes enabled when there are new/modified files, this is default behavior. In the project's properties you may want to change the default action to 'Create new version' or 'Replace existing files', then the Process will be always enabled.
